Research Projects
Wake Up and Smell the Coffee – Conducted in 2020, this project focuses on non-white student experience at Higher Education Institutions (HEIS). A qualitative methodology was utilised, particularly semi-structured interviews.
No Seat at the Table – Stemming from Wake Up, this project focused on the experience of Black faculty members at UK-based HEIs. Again incorporating semi-structured interviews, Jack also utilised policy analysis to review universities’ publicly available Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) policy. This project concluded with Jack’s 3-Step Action Plan, which he delivers at his workshops.
